SERVPRO Expands Commitment to First Responders Through New Support of the Gary Sinise Foundation

Support will help fund equipment, gear and training resources for active-duty first responders across the country

Gallatin, Tennessee, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SERVPRO, a leader in fire, water, and mold restoration and construction, is proud to announce its support of the Gary Sinise Foundation, further strengthening the company's long-standing commitment to serving first responders and their families as the nation approaches the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

The partnership builds upon SERVPRO's existing support of organizations dedicated to those who serve. Together, these efforts create three complementary pillars of impact:

Together, these partnerships create year-round opportunities to support and recognize first responders and their families, culminating in national recognition at the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl. With the addition of the Gary Sinise Foundation, SERVPRO will help provide gear, equipment and training resources to active-duty first responders across the country.

A key focus of the partnership is providing financial assistance grants to active-duty first responders to help their departments access new equipment, additional gear and training opportunities for their teams to help them perform their jobs to the best of their abilities, as well as serving appreciation meals through the Foundation's Serving Heroes Program.

SERVPRO will also support the Foundation's R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) Program, which builds specially adapted, mortgage-free smart homes for severely wounded first responders. These custom-built homes are designed to help injured heroes navigate daily life more independently and comfortably.

"At SERVPRO, we are deeply grateful for the sacrifices made every day by the men and women who protect and serve our communities," said John Sooker, Chief Executive Officer of Servpro Industries, LLC. "Our franchise owners see firsthand the courage and resilience of first responders across the country. By supporting the Gary Sinise Foundation, we're honored to help our active-duty heroes with new equipment and gear, and assistance to first responders whose lives have been forever changed in the line of duty."

“The events of September 11 were a turning point for our founder Gary Sinise, which deepened his commitment to support first responders all around the country,” said Jim Ravella, Executive Vice President of the Gary Sinise Foundation. “SERVPRO has already been serving so many first responders and delivering significant community impact to the very heroes who, without hesitation, run into danger and risk their own lives to protect all of us. On behalf of our founder and the entire Gary Sinise Foundation team, we are honored to be included in the SERVPRO ecosystem of partners who care deeply for our firefighters, police officers, along with their families. We are excited for this new partnership that is built around the mutual respect, appreciation and gratitude we have for our nation’s heroes.”

The partnership reflects SERVPRO's ongoing commitment to supporting those who serve others. Through relationships with organizations focused on education, wellness, family support and recovery, SERVPRO continues to invest in programs that create lasting impact for first responders and their families nationwide.
